The Turner Academy of Irish Dance was started in April 2014 by Ferne Turner-Rogers TCRG and is based in Kent, England.

Ferne had a very successful competitive career winning many open championships up and down the country, earning podium places at major championships around the world and being titled Southern regional champion.

Ferne went on to sit her TCRG exams in Glasgow in December 2013, scoring 100% in two sections and earning a distinction in the dance section.

We teach Irish Dancing to Boys and Girls aged 4+, from brand new beginners all the way though to World Championship standard Dancers.

The Turner Academy provides a friendly and fun learning environment, which enables its pupils to have an enjoyable lesson while also being able to come away with new skills and noticeable improvement from week to week.

Irish Dance is a great way for your child to keep fit and healthy while learning a great new skill and making lots of new friends along the way.

Our novice dancers earn a certificate for each new dance they perfect, once they have achieved certificate 6 they are given the opportunity to enter competitions if they wish. Although this is not essential, we feel that it gives them stage experience which improves confidence and their overall performance, and also motivates them to keep practicing and improving. All children are given the opportunity to take part in our end of year performance.

The Turner Academy of Irish Dance is registered with the governing body of 'An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha' in Dublin Ireland.
